Call for Workshop papers

Call for Tutorial Proposals

Scope and Motivation
WPMC 2023 solicits half-day tutorial (composed of two 1.5-hour sessions) proposals on new and emerging topics within the scope of communications and networking. Proposals should be submitted in a PDF file not exceeding 5 pages.

Tutorial Proposal Format
The proposal should be concise (maximum 5 pages) to clearly describe the content and objectives of the tutorial, which includes:

  • Title of the tutorial
  • Abstract, objectives, and motivation
  • Name, affiliation, and a short biography of every tutorial speaker
  • A description of the topics that the tutorial will address, emphasizing their timeliness
  • An outline of the tutorial, including a tentative time schedule
  • When relevant, a description of previous tutorial experience of the instructor(s), and past versions of the tutorial.
  • State whether similar tutorials have been offered at recent conferences (last two years).

Call for Workshop Proposals

Scope and Motivation
WPMC 2023 solicits half-day and full-day workshop proposals on new and emerging topics within the scope of communications and networking. Proposals should be submitted in a PDF file not exceeding 5 pages.

Workshop Proposal Format
The proposal should be concise (maximum 5 pages) to clearly describe the content and objectives of the workshop, which includes:

  • Title of the workshop
  • Workshop Organizers (names, affiliations, contact information, and short biographies)
  • Scope and topics of the workshop (max 1 page)
  • Rationales (max 1 page)
  • Names of potential participants, such as program committee members and invited speakers (indication that speakers accepted to participate is a plus)
  • Planned format of the workshop, including
     Duration of the workshop: Half-day, Full-day and tentative schedule
     Number of refereed papers, keynotes, panel discussions, demonstrations
     Draft Call for Papers (max 1 page)
     A description of the publicity and promotion plan
  • A description of past versions of the workshop (if applicable), including the number of submitted and accepted papers, number of attendees, etc.
  • If a similar workshop has been organized at recent conferences, please explain the similarities and differences.
