Important: Conference proceedings were included in IEEE Xplore Publications. All accepted authors were required to register and attend the symposium to present their papers. Papers not presented by the primary author or a knowledgeable colleague could be excluded from IEEE Xplore. IEEE reserved the right to exclude submissions that did not meet scope and/or quality standards.

Camera-Ready Submissions

Authors of accepted technical and workshop papers were required to submit camera-ready versions by the deadlines listed above. Detailed formatting and submission instructions were provided for each paper type. At least one author of each accepted paper was required to complete full registration for inclusion in the proceedings.

The submission process for the International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications was designed to welcome high-quality contributions from researchers and practitioners around the world. Each paper underwent a rigorous peer-review process to ensure that only the most innovative and technically sound work was accepted. Authors were encouraged to submit original research addressing current challenges and emerging trends in wireless communications, multimedia systems, and networking technologies. The symposium aimed to foster collaboration between academia, industry, and government, providing a platform for the exchange of ideas that would shape the future of personal multimedia communications and related fields.

Regular papers represented the core of the symposium's technical program, showcasing novel research results with strong theoretical or experimental foundations. These contributions were expected to present significant advances in areas such as terrestrial and satellite communications, edge computing, smart city technologies, and green communication systems. Accepted regular papers were included in the official conference proceedings, ensuring wide visibility and long-term accessibility for the research community. Authors were required to follow strict formatting guidelines and meet all deadlines to ensure their work could be properly reviewed and published.

Camera-ready submissions required careful attention to detail, as authors were asked to incorporate reviewer feedback and finalize their manuscripts according to the symposium's formatting specifications. This step marked the transition from a provisional acceptance to a finalized publication-ready paper. Authors needed to verify that all figures, references, and metadata were complete and accurate before the final upload deadline. The camera-ready phase also included the submission of necessary copyright forms and any supplementary materials requested by the technical program committee to ensure compliance with publication standards.

The symposium also welcomed review papers that provided comprehensive surveys of established and emerging topics within the wireless personal multimedia communications landscape. These papers offered valuable syntheses of existing research, identifying open challenges and promising directions for future investigation. Review authors were expected to demonstrate deep knowledge of their chosen subject area and provide critical analysis that would benefit both newcomers and experienced researchers. Such contributions helped to map the evolving terrain of wireless technologies, from enhanced mobile broadband to massive machine-type communications and ultra-reliable low-latency applications.

Student participation was strongly encouraged, with dedicated grant programs and recognition opportunities designed to support emerging researchers in the field. Young scholars were invited to submit their work alongside established investigators, contributing fresh perspectives on topics ranging from testbed acceleration to modern computing paradigms for wireless networks. The symposium's inclusive environment allowed students to present their findings, receive constructive feedback from senior researchers, and build professional networks that would support their future careers. These initiatives reflected the community's commitment to nurturing the next generation of innovators in wireless personal multimedia communications.
